Name: | Lucius / Eidos - Samasu, Shouya | Sen'ya 召夜 【しょうや】 |
---|
Name: "Lucius" - "Eidos" | Samastu, Shouya | Sen'ya 召夜 【しょうや】
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Occupation: Duel Academy Student - Osiris Red
Duel Information:
PB and/or Description: A rather small looking boy, even for his age. He's got rather long, black hair that tends to be kinda messy much of the time, but when clean and straightened out, it comes off as kinda feathered. His glasses tend to be the type that are very reflective, obscuring his purple eyes. Notably without the glasses, his face looks pretty girlish.
Personality: Shy. Retiring. Weak-willed. Quiet. Lucius is the exact opposite of what you'd expect of his namesake thanks to numerous reasons. He goes along with what he's told to do, because he has no drive otherwise to do things for himself, for the most part. He's easy to push around, even without one meaning to, and he doesn't offer too much complaint about it, either.
On the other side of the coin though, is "Eidos"-- who is far more confident in himself, and is decently capable of movement and acts of retaliation, when it comes to it. Much louder, more quick to judge others, he fits the bill of being a "Monarch" better than his weaker self. He can be rather unruly and uncooperative as a result, even among his friends.
History: A late transfer to Duel Academy, Lucius, and his other personality, "Eidos", are from an abusive situation. His parents, frustrated at their own lives, would take out their frustrations at him rather constantly, between verbal and sometimes physical abuse. However, since this is Japan, social services do not interfere unless they have outright proof of an abusive situation, and if the victim outright asks for help-- something that Lucius has too little willpower to do, and something that Eidos feels he doesn't need to do.
The one real bright spot in his life, if it could be called that, is Landrobe. Landrobe has been his friend, and his closest cousin, since they were really young. As a result, Landrobe knows things about Lucius that not even the other Monarchs are aware of, and Lucius would do anything to help his friend, even if it's creating an almost impossible scenario.
He seems to have purposely arrived a bit late at Duel Academy, (during the Christmas Break in fact) apparently out of fear of something. That's about all that he'll say about it, and only those close to him get why he's scared.
Abilities: Able to "reprogram" reality by coding into his phone, but it is massively time consuming, has a lot of specific rules to it that only he understands, and is subject to what may be referred to as bug-testing. This ability is very extensive as long as the work is put into it, and perhaps he's done more with it than one would figure.
Also, as clearly put out there: He suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder, and has basically created an "idealized" version of himself in the form of Eidos, as a way of mentally escaping his abuse.
Why is your character here?: The last of the Monarchs. We're in.
